Monetary Donation Guidelines
Organizations must meet the following criteria to be considered to receive a monetary donation from the Cardenas Markets Foundation:
- Nonprofit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization
- Organization serves the communities where Cardenas Markets operates
- Request must be submitted at least 30 days in advance on organization’s letterhead and include tax-exempt ID number

In-kind Donation Guidelines
In-kind donations are handled at our stores. Organizations requesting product or gift cards donations must meet the following criteria to qualify for a donation from Cardenas Markets:
- Nonprofit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization
- Organization serves the communities where Cardenas Markets operates
- Request must be submitted at least 30 days in advance on organization’s letterhead and include tax-exempt ID number
Please submit your request to a Store Director, in-Store and in person.
Requests for on-site activities or fundraising events at Cardenas Markets
Non-profit organizations requesting to hold events on Cardenas Markets property must meet the requirements set-forth by the company’s Property Management Team which may include:
- Certificate of Insurance
- Executed Release and Indemnity Agreement
- Landlord Consent
